This policy explains what personal data Classes Ayazpoor ("the app", "we") collects, why, and what your rights are. The app is available on the web at https://classes.ayazpoor.fr and through the matching Android mobile app.
1. Data controller

2. Sign-in and account
You sign in with Ayazpoor ID (login.ayazpoor.fr), our authentication service. When you sign in we receive your name, email address, phone number and a technical account identifier. The app never stores your password; it is handled by Ayazpoor ID.
3. Data we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, account identifier, role (teacher or student), language.
- Content you create: exercise answers as text, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and audio recordings, video recordings and photos you capture in the app; grading feedback for teachers; courses, lessons and flashcards created by teachers.
- Learning activity: progress, sets started or finished, game results, review sessions, flashcard progress.
- Technical logs: event time and type (login, opening a course, submitting an answer…), IP address and browser/device type, and email delivery logs. These logs are used for security and progress tracking.
Access to the microphone, camera and photo library is requested only when you choose to record or submit an answer. You may deny these permissions; only the related features will be unavailable.
4. Purposes
- Provide the service: show courses, save your answers, let your teacher grade them and follow your progress.
- Manage your account and sign-in.
- Send configurable email notifications (course invitation, new content, grading, student submission).
- Keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve the app.
Legal basis: performance of the service you request and our legitimate interest in running it securely and reliably.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. Your answers are visible only to you and to the teacher of your course. We use technical service providers that process data solely on our behalf:
- website and database hosting (o2switch, France);
- email delivery (SMTP server on the ayazpoor.fr domain);
- avatar display (oap.ayazpoor.fr, from a hash of the email address);
- authentication (Ayazpoor ID / login.ayazpoor.fr);
- mobile app distribution (Google Play).
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and you take part in courses. Files you upload can be deleted by you or your teacher. On a deletion request we erase your personal data within a reasonable time, unless we are legally required to keep it.
7. Security
All communication is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to uploaded files and data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights or request account deletion, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
9. Children
The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. Younger students should use it only under the supervision of a teacher or legal guardian, in line with their school's rules.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above indicates the current version; significant changes will be announced in the app.
